Quannas White
Head Coach
Quannas White is the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at the University of Louisiana and one of the nation’s most respected recruiters and player‑development coaches. A New Orleans native, Coach White arrived in Lafayette after eight highly successful seasons at the University of Houston, where he helped build one of college basketball’s premier programs, reaching multiple Sweet 16s, an Elite Eight, and a Final Four.
Before becoming a nationally recognized coach, White was an elite point guard at Oklahoma, leading the Sooners to the 2002 Final Four and 2003 Elite Eight under Kelvin Sampson. His playing and coaching career spans the Big 12, American Athletic Conference, and now the Sun Belt, with a track record of developing All‑Americans, NBA Draft picks, and championship‑level teams.
Now as the 15th head coach in Ragin’ Cajuns history, White brings his trademark toughness, discipline, and detail‑driven approach to Lafayette — and those same standards shape every session of Quannas White Basketball Camps.
Coach White is committed to building complete players, confident competitors, and future leaders — on and off the court.
